Description
Solar control window panes reduce the flow of light and solar energy into the room. Depending on the choice and application, the glazing is installed on the outside of the glazing unit, or on both sides of the unit. Such sunshield can reduce the costs associated with using air conditioners in the summer.
The price is counted per m2 of a pane.
Solar control window panes are offered with the following types of glass panes:
Selective glass – it reduces the flow of solar energy entering the building and at the same time maintains a relatively high level of light transmission. This glass can be used only in double-glazing unit, it is not available in single glazing.
Absorbing glass – it absorbs the sun’s rays, reducing light transmission and the amount of solar energy inside the building. This glass can be used as single or composite.
Reflective glass – it creates the mirror effect and reflects light radiation from the glass, allowing for the simultaneous reduction of solar energy infiltration. Depending on the type of coating, this glass can be used as single or composite.
In offer, you will find:
- available absorbing glass: Parsol or Planibel,
- available selective glass: Planistar SUN, Cool-Lite SKN,
- available reflective glass: Mirastar, Stopsol, Cool-Lite ST, Cool-Lite STB,
