Description
The system that fits perfectly in the architecture style of the Scandinavian markets.
The main difference that distinguishes windows made on the basis of the Nordline system from the European type of windows is the outward opening. The Scandinavian climate (low air temperatures and constant winds) requires smaller windows that let in as much sunlight as possible. Hence, the Nordline profiles were designed with a small width and great depth of the installation, allowing for the appropriate stiffness of the windows. What is more, the movable mullion is replaced here by an ordinary fixed mullion screwed to the sash and equipped with appropriate plugs at the bottom and top.
Windows made of profiles of this shape have certain advantages. First of all – the amount of sunlight increased by 5-8% for the same dimensions. Secondly, in such windows, the pane with a larger surface area compared to classic windows has a greater impact on the thermal transmittance coefficient. Due to the fact that it usually has a better coefficient than the profile, it significantly improves the thermal characteristics of the Nordline window. Thirdly, the greater the wind pressure, the more tightly closed windows (the greater the wind, the tighter the window). Water that gets into the gap between the frame and the sash flows out freely, and the space is constantly ventilated and dry. Additionally, when opening the windows, the water that may remain on the lower edge of the sashes does not reach the apartment.
